2 Squad rules...

General

The 2 Squad League operates within the UK Air Attack Club and all rules of that club apply to this league as well. This means you must read, understand and follow the Code of Conduct of the AA club.
The League operates a policy of one pilot, one squad. This means no "ringers", no multi squad pilots. Squads that are found to be operating such pilots WILL forfeit any match they have played.
C/O's it is your responsibility to ensure that all pilots in your squad are registered on the Air Attack Central Launch Pages showing the name and names that they fly under for your squad. Failure to do this will mean the pilot will NOT see the match arena.
Pilots using the same Internet connection and do not play for the same squad have to inform the league master.
Game specific

All matches will take place on the Ketsujin servers
For matches played at UK time, all matches will start promptly at 6.30 pm or 8.30 pm, with the arena being open from 10 mins before start. The second half arena will then be open from7.00 pm - 9.00 PM, and play will begin at about 9.10 pm.
Squadrons will enter a private arena. Please make sure all pilots are registered if not they will not be able to see the match arena
Each match will be assigned a referee. if no referee is avialable then COs can apoint a squad member to ref each half
Map boundaries: teams will stay within the boundaries of the map which is 2 squares out from the runways. Any pilot leaving the map will be classed as dead and their team will be docked 1 ratio point accordingly, said pilot must land at base and take off again or will be ordered to crash immediately (unless on the referees command they immediately turn back towards the nearest point of the boundary) before he is allowed to rejoin the match, and can also have points deducted at the referees discretion.
Teams are allowed to fly with 7 players max unless both have more. Teams have to be equal if both have more than 7.
teams must be equal at the start of the first half if both teams have more than 7 players. The number of pilots in the second half shall not exceed the number of pilots in the first half unless BOTH teams are able to field extras

If a pilot wishes to join mid-match and their team has less than 7 players, they may after their CO has notified the referee of their impending arrival.

Players that can't fly because their team has too many may sit on the US runway at the referees discretion.
The match will be split into 2 halves, with each half lasting 30 minutes. Arenas will be visible to members of competing squadrons and other club officials.
Matches will start within 5 minutes of the allotted time. Referees can penalize squadrons that cause delays in the match longer than this time.
Teams will be designated home and away with the home team playing SU/GB in the first half, US/GE in the second and vice versa for the away team.
Squadrons may split themselves between their two countries , for example 3 pilots SU and 3 GB or they may choose to play all one side. Players may not change nationality once the game is in progress.
There will be no countdown, and no lining up. When the Referee is ready he/she will call for the C/O's to report ready, followed by a signal to start your engines, after which there will be a SCRAMBLE announcement and the game will begin.
Teams must not move from the side of the runway (ie the arena-spawn position) until the scramble is called.
Scoring

Changes
If any match days or times need to be changed both COs will send an e/mail to
lm@airattack.co.uk agreeing details no less than seven days before the fixture is scheduled failure to do this will result in the match taking place at alotted time. If for any reason a match isn't played within 5 days of the original day/time, the match may be forfeited with points deducted for one or both teams. Server problems excluded.

If a referee can not be allocated for the arranged match, but there is a Ref on each of the 2 teams, then the match may go ahead with the refs on both teams recording and keeping check on scores and time. Any disagreements will be dealt with via the LM/Head ref . Can those responsible for recording match scores, please post results on any of the 3 main forums, any recordings of incidents can be mailed to either lm@airattack.co.uk or cc@airattack.co.uk

Substituting Players - Disallowed

Disconnections can not be replaced by another player who is NOT in the arena. i.e. if a ref has permitted pilots to sit on US runway, a 5 minute window will be given for the disconnected pilot to re appear before he can be replaced by a pilot already in the arena and sitting on the US runway.

There will be a total of 3 league points available for each match, split into 1 point for winning each half and 1 extra point for the team with the most points from both halves (the 'overall winner').
The Squadron that obtains the first kill in EACH half of the match will receive five bonus ratio points. Other ratio points will be awarded as scored by each team regardless of win or lose.
Squadrons win by default (3 points) if they show up for a match at the agreed time, but no member of the other team arrives within 10 minutes of the match start time.
If a team does not show up for a match they may at the discretion of the league master be docked 4 league points.
If two teams are equal on league points at the end of the season, the league placings will be determined by the Result of their league match.
If 2 squads are tied and their match was a draw or more than 2 squads are tied, the following will determine the final positions.
Wins (if still tied)
Halves won (if still tied)
1st kills (if still tied)
Playoff
Behaviour

Squadrons will restrict themselves to friendly / internal comms and will heed the commands of the referee at ALL TIMES. Referees will be instructed to penalize any squadron that disrupts the other teams by flooding the comms or refuses to obey their commands. Remember banter is what the game is all about. Abuse is not. Judgment in this matter will reside in the hands of the Referees.
Runwaying, runway ramming, persistent crashing and escaping by an individual or team will result in that team being penalized. Continued misbehavior after this point may result in forfeiture of the game. In this matter the Referee has the final judgment.
Unsporting behaviour: this league is intended to be fun for all teams playing in it, consequently teams must be seen to be playing the game fairly.
It is not permissible for a squadron to deliberately remain seated on the runway and refuse to take off or to avoid engaging the enemy for prolonged periods of time.
If a squadron quits a match early, then they forfeit the game, and all league points won in that game.
It is at the referees discretion as to whether he/she feels that a squadron have been deliberately unsporting and they can award the game to the opposition.
The referees decision on this will be final, supported by a recording of the game to the LM and CC. Any disputes will be handled by the LM and CC as is appropriate.
The Referee must not be rammed, shot, stabbed, run over, mutilated, burned, covered in tar or feathers, beaten, battered, verbally or physically abused, or generally ignored.
Squadrons must cease shooting and land immediately at the end of each half. If a squadron continues killing then they may be penalized a league point.
Grievance / Complaints

If squadrons have a complaint regarding one of the other teams, or a referee, the C/O only will email the 2 Squad League Master ( lm @ airattack.co.uk ). All complaints/league issues must be handled by and responded to by the squadron Commanding Officer.
Complaints regarding the LM must be passed to the Club Captain by Email. Please ensure all complaints are polite or mails will simply be bounced back to you.
It is advised that at least one member of each team as well as the referee records each game to help clear up any possible disputes. Complaints will not be heeded without this evidence.
